Lou’s Lagoon Takes Flight on August 27

Pilots, get ready for takeoff! ✈️
Lou’s Lagoon, the open-world exploration and crafting adventure from Tiny Roar, launches on Steam on August 27.
You’ll be heading to the tropical Limbo archipelago with your own seaplane, plenty of islands to explore and a mystery waiting for you when you arrive.
The Deluxe Edition will launch on the same day, with a lifeguard outfit, a bubble-powered engine for your seaplane and a set of beach decorations.
Welcome to Limbo
The story begins with a distress call from Uncle Lou.
When you arrive in Limbo, a storm has left the islands in need of repair — and Uncle Lou has disappeared.
As you search for him, you’ll travel between islands and meet the different communities living across the archipelago. There are buildings to repair, resources to collect and plenty of places to explore along the way.
Each island has its own character, from the town of Tangle Bloom to Gleam Reef and the sugar-crystal mines of Boulderia.
There’s no need to rush through the mystery, either. If you’d rather spend some time exploring, building or fishing, you can.
Your Seaplane, Your Island
You’ll spend plenty of time in the air as you travel between the islands.
Your seaplane can be customized and upgraded, and you can put your flying skills to the test with ring challenges around the archipelago.
Back on the ground, the Swirler helps you collect resources from the environment. Those materials can be used for crafting, repairing buildings and developing your own island base.
You can also customize your character and decorate your home as you go.
So whether you want to follow Uncle Lou’s trail, work on your island or just fly around and see what you find, there’s plenty to do around Limbo.
What’s in the Deluxe Edition?
The Lou’s Lagoon Deluxe Edition launches alongside the base game on August 27 and adds three cosmetic packs:
Lifeguard Outfit — a beach-ready outfit for your character.
Bubble Fan Engine — a seaplane engine that leaves a trail of bubbles behind you.
Bubble Decoration Pack — eight bubble-themed decorations for your island.
And yes, the bubbles are very cute. 🫧
